Here I blog.
When i woke up today, my eyes were all stuck shut because i have a case of the pink eye. I finally tore them open (they were stuck with goo!) and my contacts were all clouded over and i seriously couldn't see anything. It was like a white film covered my world. Then Wendy came into the room and she was naked and I couldn't see her. I felt just like Helen Keller longing for Anne Sullivan.
Today I am working from home. I am all ugly in my pajammas and greasy hair and i'm blowing my nose every five minutes. There are boogie tissues all around my computer. My coworker Scatterbrain emailed and asked me if he and Boss Hog (my boss) could swing by with a copy of the newsletter for me to edit. I panicked and the first thing i thought was "They are going to see me wearing my nerdy glasses!" The second thing i thought was, "Should i invite them in?" I actually started to clean the house, fixing the couch cover and spraying bug repellent in the front closet, before i realized DUH, they could just email PDFs. Man, technology saves the day.
Somehow i am being really productive today, working on a new project. But when i am done, or near done, I am going to pack up my stuff for my trip to Boston tomorrow. It's been over a year since I've been home! Bad daughter! I'm also going to walk down to the libarary and pick up some DVDs and books. Then i am going to get a falafel. My blog is very boring so far. I'm only blogging to be like Kevin and Dustin. Yaaaaaaawn!

Dude, you are cool like everyone else! Except the old ones. Be sure to clean your contacts very well or else the conjunctivitis will not go away. Contact lenses are like little sponges. Did the doctor give sulfacetamide? Use it on your contacts, too, if you can. This message brought to you by the American Society of Ophthalmology.

I always wondered why I didn't get contacts and along came you.
Sounds like you are doing well with the grant shit, I am not writing any since I am with the City, we be all up in da' money (something I am NOT used to).
