no, but really
As I've spent the week under my parent's roof, shocked and sickened at their bizarre lifestyle, I've come to realize that I am the black sheep of the family. Maybe I'm the black sheep of the world. My coworkers don't get me either. I'm often ranting about evil Republicans, the destruction of the environment, consumerism and Dr. Phil. I am starting to think I sound like I'm a miserable nihilist. So today, in honor of Thanksgiving, I will provide the world with a list of things I love for which I feel truly thankful. No, but really, I am actually quite happy on the inside.
- waking up under puffy blankets each day with the love of my life
- my health and mild intelligence
- having choices
- living in the city of San Francisco
- being respected and understood
- working at a job that I love
- my mom and dad
- feeling connected to friends in citites across the country
- pizza, beer, dark chocolate
- secret spots in the forest
- soft socks
- a very dark bedroom
- being free from credit card debt
- Shelly Long Parties
- sunset at Baker Beach
- sunrise on the playa
- the folks at Tipsy Tuesdays
- music
- getting the chance to travel
- Michael Moore, Jon Stewart, Randi Rhodes, Bill Maher
- soaking in hot tubs each year on NewYear's Eve

- going home
