a word to the wise

I happily admit that this beauty is one of the most fun pieces of Wonder Woman memorabilia I own. Other serious Wonder Woman collectors can attribute their similar giddieness when first owning this prized item. That said, every day Joe's and kids alike will find it a little less 'fun' to buy. The set is basically a resin rendition of the Post-Crisis Wonder Woman tiara and bracelets. The included earrings are made of a plastic, and although do have a typical earring spike coming out of the back, they unfortunately do not come with the metal bow to keep it in place on your ear. Likewise the tiara and bracelets have perks and downsides of thier own. The tiara comes with a raised gem-like star on the front, instead of the cheaper painted on stars you typically get in Halloween costumes. I strongly caution people not to attempt to put it on their heads though, as the tiara is oddly shaped and the resin material it is made from can likely snap in two. The same can be said for the bracelets, but they do have a beautiful inscription in them telling of the Amazon's ideals and philosophies etched into the inner bracelets themselves. All items are snuggly fitted onto a blue velvet holder which has a golden sign stating that the set is 'on loan' from Wonder Woman herself. Too cute. The blue part of the stand comes off and reveals a nice storage area where you can place comic books or other valuable/collectible Wonder Woman items. Etched around the base itself are gorgeously drawn Wonder Woman scenes depicted in ancient Greece renderings. All in all I would highly recommend this item to collectors everywhere, but would caution the mildly interested in thinking about the purchase before going through with it as it is not kid friendly.
